Why Should I Consider Changing My Phone System?
There are many possible reasons why a phone system may need to be replaced. Some of the more common:
- Reliability - it's getting to the end of its useful life and is causing problems
- Capacity - most 'legacy' telephone systems have a physical limit on the number of extensions and incoming lines that they can support. At some point you'll probably outgrow them.
- Lack of support - once a system reaches a certain age, you may not be able to get parts or service easily, or it may become overly expensive to maintain
- Functionality - You may need or want features that the old system can't provide, such as direct dial numbers, conference calls, linking offices etc
- Cost savings - to take advantage of reduced call charges, particularly overseas or inter-office calls.
Often, a change can be triggered when a company expands and moves to new premises. It may not be practical to move an old system or the new building may need expensive additional cabling to accommodate it.
To help you evaluate whether it's time for a change, we've prepared this short questionnaire which will provide a score result for guidance.
Don't worry, this is totally confidential - it's just for your use, your answers are not stored or used in any way.
